USC's Healthcare Provider Billing Compliance Program's Objectives are:

To support USC healthcare providers in making compliant business decisions and avoiding unsuitable transactions.

To support USC healthcare providers in their efforts to avoid irregularities in payment, reimbursement, and other transactions.

To support USC healthcare providers in identifying areas of possible concern that might affect the group's reputation, participation in public programs, or status as holder of public licenses.

To provide oversight of compliance with laws, regulations, and special conditions imposed on our USC healthcare providers by licensing and regulatory authorities.

To provide special training and monitoring with respect to professional billing.

To provide an effective means for individuals to report allegations of noncompliance.
