USC's Healthcare Provider Billing Compliance Program's Objectives are:

 
  • To support USC healthcare providers in making compliant business decisions and avoiding unsuitable transactions.  
  • To support USC healthcare providers in their efforts to avoid irregularities in payment, reimbursement, and other transactions.  
  • To support USC healthcare providers in identifying areas of possible concern that might affect the group's reputation, participation in public programs, or status as holder of public licenses.
  • To provide oversight of compliance with laws, regulations, and special conditions imposed on our USC healthcare providers by licensing and regulatory authorities.  
  • To provide special training and monitoring with respect to professional billing. 
  • To provide an effective means for individuals to report allegations of noncompliance.
